In Site Education provides experienced on-set tutors and studio teachers for children working in theater, television, and film productions.

We collaborate closely with families, schools, and production teams to develop an education plan that ensures each child remains current with assignments, coursework, and assessments while working professionally. Our educators understand the realities of production schedules and adapt instruction accordingly.

In Site Education maintains a database of qualified tutors with both daytime and evening availability, allowing us to meet the needs of productions of any scale or schedule.

Child Work Permits

In Site Education assists families and productions with obtaining required child work permits.

We file necessary paperwork with local government agencies and work directly with families and schools to ensure all documentation and conditions for legal employment are met, reducing administrative burden and delays.

Tutoring

In addition to on-set instruction, In Site Education provides tutoring for students who are homeschooled, require homework support, or have specific academic needs.

Our tutors work alongside school curricula and, when appropriate, design original lesson plans tailored to the individual student’s learning style, goals, and academic requirements.

Backstage Guardians

We provide experienced backstage guardians for child actors working in theatrical productions.

Our backstage guardians:

• Supervise children during rehearsals, technical rehearsals, and performances

• Guide children through backstage protocols, entrances, costume care, and professional expectations

• Support vocal and physical warm-ups when required

• Liaise with stage management, company management, tutors, and parents

• Advocate for the child’s health, safety, and overall wellbeing

Pre-Production Advising

During pre-production, one of our experienced on-set educators can meet with producers and project teams to plan for compliance with child labor laws and educational requirements.
